General Entry Terms & Conditions

Your local skating rink, Sk8house in Carrum Downs, underwent extensive renovations during the 1st round of Melbourne’s Covid restrictions.  Upgrades to the large 2000sqm venue included; new sound and lighting systems, re-painted walls and re-surfaced rink plus easy-clean polycarbonate anti-bacterial barriers. Hand sanitiser stations are also readily available and we have a strict Covid-SAFE cleaning routine in place, as well as a NEW on-line booking system. As if this wasn’t enough, there is also an AMAZING hand-painted 40metre long wall mural that has to be seen to be believed!

As we are sure you can understand, we then made some necessary changes to our pricing, hours and offers as follows:

ALL SESSIONS

Currently we prefer on-line bookings only. This is to help us manage capacity - we appreciate your support and understanding.

We take the safety of our staff, customers and the wider community very seriously.  With this in mind we ask that you do not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled session time & leave the venue within 10 minutes of session finish.

We ask all attendees to maintain 1.5m physical distancing from others & can confirm that our rink surface alone is 900sqm & the building as a whole covers more than 2000 sqm.

We recommend that attendees wear protective gear.  Protective gear is available to borrow free of charge. However, we encourage you to bring your own for health reasons.

Hire skates & blades are available for a charge - socks must be worn when using them.

We ask that if you are feeling unwell or at risk of carrying COVID-19, please do not visit the rink.

The activity of skating itself may result in unintentional contact between skaters, accidents can happen. You voluntarily assume the risk of injury when you skate.
