At Sk8house, we know that not everyone enjoys busy, loud or fast-paced environments — and that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of skating in a way that feels comfortable and supportive.

That’s exactly why our Sensory Sessions exist.

These sessions have become incredibly important to so many families in our community, and we’re proud to officially share the 2026 Sensory Session dates.

What are Sensory Sessions?

Sensory Sessions are designed to offer the same fun, movement and joy of skating — just in a calmer, more relaxed format.

You’ll still find:

• Games and activities
• Friendly staff on the rink
• Lots of smiles and encouragement

But with:

• Reduced volume music
• Softer lighting
• A slower, more predictable pace

These sessions are ideal for skaters who may feel overwhelmed in standard sessions, including people with disability, neurodivergent skaters, first-timers, and families looking for a more gentle introduction to skating.

All ages & abilities welcome

Sensory Sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities.

• Wheelchairs and mobility aids are welcome on the rink
• Companion Cards are honoured (companions skate free)
• Our team is always available to assist, adjust skates, answer questions, or give space when needed

There’s no pressure to skate a certain way — you’re encouraged to move at your own pace.

Pricing & booking information

BOOK ON-LINE: $17 per person (includes Sk8hire if required)
DOOR PRICING: $20 per person (includes Sk8hire if required)

All pricing listed for Sensory Sessions is valid for 2026 dates only and is subject to change.

As with all Sk8house sessions, we strongly recommend booking online in advance.

• You’ll access the best available pricing
• Your waiver is completed ahead of time
• Entry on the day is quicker, smoother and more predictable
• Less waiting, less stress, more skating
